Our Paris Trip Guide

Therese Fieschi

For over 30 years, Therese Fieschi has dazzled friends and family with her personalized tours of Paris and the beautiful regions throughout France. Her English is impeccable, and her personality is captivating. She is hosting the Robison and Friends Paris Tour in May 2024, where we will venture through the back streets of Paris on our quest to learn all that is Paris.

In her own words: “I am Thérèse FIESCHI. Paris is my hometown, I am a true and authentic “Parisian titi” worthy of Gavroche, who was the little boy from the suburbs that Victor Hugo portrayed in his famous novel “Les Miserables.” (Parisian titi means the real native of Paris.)

I have walked the streets of my city since my early childhood, whether by taking the metro or crossing the city squares. I breathe Paris. I love this city from the depths of my soul. I studied for a while at the Sorbonne University, and then I worked in ready-to-wear fashion industry in Paris, which is the luxury goods capital of the world.

My first adventures away from the family cocoon were along the Seine, where while strolling, I discovered the wonders of my city — the imposing Notre Dame cathedral which makes the heart of the city vibrate, the replica of the flame of the Statue of Liberty, and the riverboats which take us along the majestic Seine River. I also experienced its tragedies: the untimely death of Lady Di, the attacks of November 13, 2015, and the destruction of Notre Dame by fire. In short, I like this motto of Paris “Fluctuat nec mergitur” which in Latin it means “she is rocked by waves but does not sink. I will be honored and pleased to guide you in discovering the most beautiful city in the world, my city.”
